Kim S. Beall, PharmD

Kim S. Beall, PharmD, received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and her BS in Pharmacy from Auburn University. She has experience in academics and industry, working at MUSC as part of an Internal Medicine team and serving as adjunct faculty at MUSC College of Pharmacy, then working in Health Sciences with Merck as an academic liaison for those publishing and researching in lipids, hypertension, and heart failure. She has been following research in IBD closely since 2013 with her teenage son’s diagnosis of Crohn’s disease, and has become committed to the advancement of nutritional therapy as treatment.

Anthony C. Beall, MD

Anthony C. Beall, MD, is an anesthesiologist practicing at Trident Health System in Charleston, SC . He completed his residency and medical school training at the Medical University of SC and received his BS in Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina. He is currently working with Trident Anesthesia Group where he has served as past president and a member of the hospital Board of Trustees. Dr. Beall has also served on the South Carolina State Board of Medical Examiners. Since his son’s diagnosis of Crohn’s disease and successful management with nutrition, he has become an advocate for nutrition, serving as a speaker for Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) programs in which nutrition plays a central role.
