SCRUMPTIOUS Study (SCD)

Stanford Children's Health is now enrolling IBD patients and caregivers for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet Curriculum - Patient and Caretaker's Outlooks (SCRUMPTIOUS) Study. This study is evaluating the impact of an innovative and tailored Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) curriculum, on the knowledge and perspectives of patients with IBD and their caretakers. Participation is via Zoom and participants will receive a $15 gift card.

SCRUMPTIOUS Study (SCD)

Patients and caregivers who are interested in learning or expanding their knowledge about SCD are invited to participate in Phase II of the study. Phase II is comprised of one 90-minute Zoom Session where you will learn how to cook SCD. Topics discussed will be how to add crunch to your diet, cooking with kids, and science behind SCD.

You are eligible if you are the following:

  • 3-21 years of age
  • Diagnosed with IBD
  • Interested in learning about SCD
  • Have 0-12 months worth of experience with SCD

Class schedules are as follows:

  • January 26, 2021; 4:00 - 5:30 PM, Pacific time
  • February 2, 2021; 4:00 - 5:30 PM, Pacific time
  • February 8, 2021; 4:00 - 5:30 PM, Pacific time
